Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has left a lasting impression on the screen. Her parents are both Irish and Mexican American. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas where she pursued an athletic therapy profession at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for long and soon moved into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of performances as an actor. These included independent local films and commercials. Despite small roles, she was soon able to discover her love for acting. After 2001, she relocated to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Kids' daytime soap as Rosa Santos. Through the initial decade of 2000, she acted small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in 2004's miniscule film The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside some of the best TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. The year 2006 was the time she was A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was on the show for 85 episodes. After that, she was a part of the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza various nominations like Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even a few ALMA Award noms. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her performance that stood out on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast as a character on CSI Miami in a recurring character. She was Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. She played Doctor. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after two seasons. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is Italian and has a younger brother Cory. The family she was raised in was a relatively conservative and religious family. Milano started her acting career when she was seven years old. She was accompanied by her babysitter on stage for auditions. With more than 1000 applicants the actress was selected among only four. Milano is featured in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and Jane Eyre, the American premier of Jane Eyre.
